Rev. Kameron M. WIlds

Rev. Kameron M. Wilds was born and raised in Goochland, VA. He joined the United Methodist Church through campus ministries while attending Ferrum College in Southwest Virginia. Kameron earned his Masters of Divinity from Duke University's Divinity School. In 2015, Kameron joined the Ferrum Faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Religion. He was also named Ferrum College's Outstanding Young Alumni from the School of Arts and Humanities.

Kameron is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church and the founder of The Helping Hands Thrift Store and The Feed My Sheep feeding program; two nonprofit organizations with the goal of assisting those experiencing poverty.  In 2020, Kameron was named pastor of Rising Hope, where he is actively living out his calling to build intentional community with those on the margins, in particular those experiencing homelessness and poverty. Kameron is married to his wife Samantha and is the proud father of Alexander, Ellinor, and Samuel. He is also an avid fan of all things Duke and Boston Red Sox.
